Apple Care Protection Plan

First experiences with Apple Customer Service. I would rate it a 7 or 8 of 10 doesn't blow me over but found for the most part they know there stuff about the operating system and applications. Beyond that it gets kinda sketchy for example: 

I was broadcasting my 2 printers on my home network on my Windows XP Sony VAIO-PCG FXA53 notebook a Brother MFC 420CN and a Cannon iP1800 which all I wanted help with is getting OS 10.5 (Leopard ) to be able to see my Windows XP Notebook that is broadcasting files and printers on my network and the buck stopped there it was like Opening day of hunting season and I was the tirdy point buck and they were a FBI top secret sniper working for the FBI and they shot me dead in my tracks "Sorry that is beyond the scope of our support".  

I explained Bill Gates Machine worked perfectly fine in pinging the apple but every time I tried pinging the Gates Machine with Steve Jobs machine it all it would do is time out.  So I tried getting the tech to assist me in setting the network settings on the OS 10.5.1 machine but no go.  Oh well there always another day and tons to read on the web so maybe I will get some help from a forum or figure it out on my own. Sorry folks there will be no showdown today on the OK Corral at least not with a former Texas County Police Officer of 10 years I think I would loose that sharp shooting competition.  Really nice guy though had to be to put up with me :) He is close to my late fathers age. 

I did get some sound advice and told the gentleman (Vince) that I would quote him on it so here it is "So would you say I should invest in Apple Stock over Microsoft?", Vince " Yes I would.", Chad says " All right I will do that next time I talk to my account managers of my 401k, I will tell them that I have made it known I trust Apple with my money more than I do Microsoft since I have to help support a semi retired police officer in Texas as well as his wife who currently is still a county officer of the law that retired to become a computer tech. since it was less stressful." I could help but questions that LESS STRESSFUL?!??!!? told him I couldn't understand that but I would take his word for it and settle my aspirations to being a public servant as a technician and not to dream about what it would be like to be a police officer.
